Brock Township lies on the east shore of Lake Simcoe and is the most northern part of the Regional Municipality of Durham. There are three main urban areas and numerous picturesque hamlets that dot the country side. The villages of Beaverton, Cannington and Sunderland are the principal areas of population concentration. Each has its own special character and charm.
2011 census data has Brock with a population of 11,341. The main industry is agriculture, tourism is also a major source of economic activity and employment. About an hour drive from Toronto through rolling hills and scenic vistas Brock boasts a wide range of activities for outdoor and recreation enthusiasts. Clear water beaches, hikeing trails, boating, golf, fishing, local theatre, festivals, art galleries, restaurants and cafes are amoung the main attractions for visitors and residents alike.
