Coboconk is located on Ontario Highway 35 and has a population of about 800.  It has long promoted itself as "the home of Canada's smallest jail" and while an interesting anecdote, it hardly tells the story.
Coboconk is a hub for cottagers and visitors to Balsam Lake Provincial Park and on almost any summer day, one might find people swimming at the bridge in the centre of the village. Local residents and cottagers call it "Coby". CFWSlogo
